Bracewell & Guilliani, LLP Endowment

In 2007 The Honorable Jarvis V. Hollingsworth was honored as one of four Distinguished Alumni at the University of Houston Black Alumni (UHBAA) Annual Scholarships & Awards Gala. That year the University of Houston Black Alumni Association committed to leaving a legacy for future generations of Cougars.  With that commitment in mind, the President and Board of Directors of UHBAA committed to establishing an endowment that would be a permanent scholarship fund for UHBAA. UHBAA, Jarvis and Bracewell & Giuliani have a strong commitment to education and it was at that time that Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP established the UHBAA & Bracewell and Giuliani, LLP Endowment.  This was the first endowment for the University of Houston Black Alumni Association and it established a long standing relationship between the two groups.
